M. Sameer Ahmed - Managing Attorney
Hello, My name is Sameer Ahmed. I was born in St, Louis, Missouri in 1970. In 1977, my parents, both of whom are physicians, moved to Fort Worth, Texas where I graduated high school in 1987. In 1991 I received a B. S. in Biology from Southern Methodist University and considered applying to medical school, as was a family tradition. However after living in New York and working in the legal department of Ernst & Young, LLP I decided to attend law school and earn my J.D. from South Texas College of Law in 1997. After graduating, I moved to the small border town of McAllen, Texas where my two cousins (also physicians) had established several successful imaging centers. I began my career as an attorney there in 1998 and grew my practice by representing many physicians in their transactional matters.
I then moved back to the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex to establish The Ahmed Firm, PLLC and now represent numerous local businesses including hospitals, physician practices, transportation carriers and brokers, engineering groups, construction companies, and real estate developers in various transactional and litigation matters.

Usman Qureshi, Of Counsel
Usman Qureshi practices in the area of Estate and Probate law with concentration on sophisticated estate and trust planning, tax planning, business succession planning, asset protection, charitable planning and probate matters, as well as planning for simple/modest estates. Specifically, he has extensive experience in drafting Wills and Trusts that are in compliance with Texas law and Islamic law.
Usman has been a featured speaker at various societies of financial advisors and planners, certified public accountants, and other organizations throughout Texas, providing instructional seminars and advanced training in estate planning, charitable planning and asset protection.
In addition to his Estate and Probate law practice, Usman is a fee attorney for Secured Title of Texas which allows his office to handle real estate closings for all residential and commercial transactions. He represents property developers and investors in a wide variety of real estate transactions, including commercial leasing, the acquisition and disposition of commercial raw land, office buildings and retail centers. He regularly assists in the representation of landlords in commercial and retail matters, and has represented business owner/tenants in the Dallas/Fort Worth Area.
